Interracial dating?
I straddle the fence
Of appreciation for other races
And sheer pride and preference for my
own.
I respect that others love us,
Because we are loveable,
But wonder:
How can we remember WE are QUEENS,
If our KINGS don’t choose us?
Do we lack the self esteem to truly love
each other?
And if we do not love ourselves,
Why can’t someone else love us?
